    Flight Crew in Helicopters

hey i know this is more of fighter jet forum but i was wondering if anyone had any idea what the flight crew in the Blackhawk/Seahawk/Jayhawk/Pavehawk were becuase i am interested in becoming a Pilot, Gunner, or Flight Engineer . but what does the flight engineer really do? becuase ive looked on all the military recruiting sites and stuff but they all i guess have different names . and also does anyone have any links that i could see about a detailed decription for any of these positions? Thanks, Snoborder13

    Re: Flight Crew in Helicopters

That depends on what service you go into.  Most Army pilots (and I believe Marine helo pilots) are warrant officers.  Air Force pilots are officers (4yr degree + commission + pilot training before you get into helicopters).  The rest of the crew are usually enlisted.
